Semalam aku menghadiri satu majlis celebration dinner untuk satu projek.
Di sebabkan project ini hasil usaha sama dengan company Italy, jadik Mem Besar membuat tempahan di sebuah restaurant Itali di Desa Sri Hartamas. Seriusly, dulu aku bertanggapan makanan Italy nih tak sedap, hanya sedap kalau aku yg masak (cewah) ataupun complementary cili padi potong. Sebab aku rasa tasteless, even Italiannese is not up to my expectation. Sorry readers, I feel that the food there is crappy (mungkin juga aku order menu tak sesuai)
Tetapi, aku punya mind set has berubah semalam. Sememangnya makanan Italy amatlah lazat jika kena pada tempatnya.
Aku tak ley nak buat review secara detail on the food sebab seriusly aku tatau apa nama semua makanan yg aku makan tu.
Tapi aku cuba.
At 8.30pm diorang serve kami roti kecil2 yg on top nya ada tomato ceri, ada yg top sotong ada yg top avocado. I go for tomato ceri. Yummy indeed. Tapi aku agak frust, tu je appatizer dia? Suddenly Visal said to us, this is just a teaser, appetizer tak serve lagi. Oh begitu kaedah nya…Starter for a starter. Cool.
Then selepas 10 minit, come a plate with 3 jenis appatizer. 1-egg plant and parmesan, 2-beef bacon and salad aku tatau nama, 3-salad aku tatau nama, tomato n mozzarella. Masyallah….lazat sungguh. Memang mind blowing habis. oh sepanjang dinner, mereka aakan make sure ada cukup roti yg masin dalam bakul. Masin tapi sedap. Masin tapi lembut. Masin tapi panas. Masin yg lazat.
Ok and then, lepas terasa mcm separuh full, they serve Pasta, not one but 4 types of pasta yg di bawa course by course. I like no 1,3 and 4. No 2 tu seingat aku warna hijau basil leaves rasa macam cikedis. Tak sedap.Tapi 1,3 and 4 sodap. Time nih aku rasa dah betul2 nyesal order Main Course. Dah kenyang sgt. Aku order Sea Bass, crap kan order ikan? I don’t quite like it. Tapi aku rasa Steak dia,yummy. Selalu nya aku rasa Steak medium cook tak sedap…yg ini sedap.
For dessert we had 2 types. 1 – Ice cream n cake (which tasted macam baulu) 2 – Choclate yg sedap.
All the Italian, French and wine drinking Malay (konsep?) had Grappa for penutup. Of coz aku skip, but Carmine said its an Italian drink consist of 45% al-kohol.
We finished dinner at 11.30 pm. 3 jam of non stop makan. Sorry no picture of the food, which is very unlikely me kan? Selalu rajin ja amik gambaq food.
Tapi kali nih aku segan silu la jugak sebab CEO and COO dok ada situ. Aku n Pet ja lah Exec. cabok kat meja tu..Cabok pun cabok lah..janji I had a fabulous dining experience.
Oh aku terlupa nak cakap nama tempat tu, it’s a small place called IL DIVO. Will definitely ajak Bags to have a romantic dinner there, just the 2 of us. Irfan tinggal. Mummy and Daddy nak p ‘Work’.
Ah ah ah.
