he told me that he approached the girl, towards the end of his master course ( which is after 2 years being in the same class).

he said, he looks for her email in the class registration, then he sent her an email.

his exact word would be :

i am interested to get to know you better, i have been observing you for quite sometimes. i don’t have the luxury of time, but if we are compatible, if you think it is ok after getting to know me, i would like to proceed with marriage ( ermm.. bukan exact word kot, but more or less like this lah.. aku bukan ada recorder nk record everything he said)

but she replied with something insignificant, assuming that he’s just playing around. so he reply back in details, what did the girl do in every class, where she always sits, who picks her up, what subject she took and all. (ermm.. agak stalker)

and the reply came back quite a turn off.. hihi.. she said ” r u the one, driving honda accord?” (ah ah ah. kalau aku dh putus semangat masa tuh. becoz obviously he’s not driving any honda.)

he asked her out 11 times, but was rejected, and the last one was dinner, he said, he’ll be waiting, he’s serious to get to know her, if she thinks she is interested to know who he is, please come, and ask for his name from the waiter, he’ll be waiting.

*sigh*

agak persistent kan. so after the first date, and few more, he went to see the father, said that he sincerely wants to marry his daughter, that he’ll be sending the rombongan meminang. but he thinks that the father’s blessing is the most important thing.( and 3 months after that, they are married)

so there goes the real courtship story. i did ask, whether she had a bf that time, and yeah she did, but he was in US. his answer to me was, the best man win. *wink*
and i asked where the heck did he get that kind of guts. he said, because, he said to himself, this would be the last one, he did try few times before, it didnt work out, he said, if she didn’t respond, he would not try again with any other girl, so that is why he tried hard.

he said, that girl like to know things that are certain, and secure. i replied ” yeah, i know, i’m a girl” ( dlm hati, a ah, lelaki nih ha yg selalu confuse kan)

he is my cousin, (10 yrs older). when he did that, he was 31, she was 25. he is not in any way goodlooking, we used to mock him because he used to say he would want to marry wan zaleha radzi. ah ah ah.. tk ke btol rasa nk gelak bila dgr? but his wife is really pretty. if you ask me to describe her, she’s like rose, mmu junior sethn tu. junior sekolah aku, sheyna and meg?

he really gets what he wants, in the end.

will we get what we want? i always believe that we will get what ever we focus on getting.

but the question is, do we really know what we want.? i, myself have no answer, for now. i don’t even quite sure what i really need. becoz i think i’m a bit lost now.

It’s a very quite Sunday morning. 7.30am and both my boys still deep asleep. Some stretching and trying to do lotus position (is that what they called?) for at least…..30 seconds ( it feels like 5 minutes though..ihihihi) I walked down the stairs and saw mak is reading Pancaindera. I saw the headlines of back cover story. There they go again..another drama by Linda Onn and Fahrin Ahmad. I never like her anyway…
I sit in front of the TV feeling happy because I can actually watch the TV. 703 is the first channel I choose..nothing interesting. Next 711, aaaaaahh Ugly Betty marathon. And then abah came home with those delicious 7 kupang nasik lemak with extra beef rendang and telur goreng mata.

I go straight to the table and have our breakfast(quietly). As abah started to read his morning dose of Utusan Malaysia or today Mingguan Malaysia, the headlined screams “Liwat:Anwar nafi’

“Why they have to do this? Do it even need to be front page story? Utusan is trying to divert our attention ” I said in an emotional tone.
“Well its not just Utusan is having it, its all over the internet now” abah said.

I reach out the newspaper, and begin to read the article.

“I’ve told you its not about Dr M” abah said to me with this satisfying look and as though trying to say don’t make assumption too quickly.
“Sorry, silap” but in my defense im not making assumption too quickly. Who the hell on earth would expect it to happen…twice? Not me at least.

6pm - 8pm : keje sambil jln from opis to arab street, kedai murtabak zam2, dlm kete balik rumah.
8pm - 10pm : keje from rumah
10pm - 11pm : keje sambil jln ke 7E nk top up autopass
11pm - 4am : keje, keje, keje, keje, botb, fb, keje, keje,keje,botb, keje, botb,keje,fb, keje

*pukul 12am, start bukak resume, update, sent new job application, gaji double dari skang, biar puas hati kalau nk keje sampai tk fun pon kan*

okeh, i’m off.. nk mandi. (spain dah score 1-0 nih)

Dr M calls for press conference

The former PM is calling for a media conference at Level 86, Petronas at 12pm today to respond to issues. As usual, bloggers are welcomed.

there were time in my life, where i have a permanent movie partner. life was so simple then. no commitment and complications.

the only thing i still have not been able to do alone. go to the cinema by myself. (yes, ermie aku tau ko pernah buat and it’s not that bad). but i still can’t.

errr.. jolie is so hot!

this is the real thing happening, in my real life , with my real friends. couples who went out and dated like forever, and then, somehow, broke off, and shortly after that, the same guy who said he’s not ready for commitment, marry off someone else, in a blink of the eyes. (err.. bukan sbb kene tangkap basah or pregnant).

i used to assume that there is no particular reason this things happen. The relationship that never meant to be will never ends with marriage, right?

however, over the weekend, having extra free time, i was surfing the net than i stumble upon this article.

This is my first attempt to make hantaran decorations. It’s for my brother’s akad. I use fresh flowers and reuse the same accesories I got from Nizam when we got engaged.

The photos are taken at awkward angles. It’s actually prettier in real (haha). I forced Nizam to bring his SLR to capture pictures of the hantarans. Tak amek gambar pengantin on takpa. Haha.

Here’s the pics from my sis’ camera. The SLR version will be coming soon (klo aku rajin nk upload lagi)

i think i agree that being skinnier would mean being prettier.

it has got nothing to do with self esteem. it’s just a plain fact.

Pretty and beautiful are being associated with :
thin, tall, fair skin, long straight hair, curl eyelashes and etc.

i’m fat,short and dark = not pretty. –> fact

but since i don’t haf any low self esteem problem, i still think i’m cute in a way. ah ah ah. don’t hate me pls!
