Selamat Pengantin Baru & Happy Honeymoon

Last night was Owwek+BJ’s wedding. Sgt suke wedding semlm sbb 1) jumpa ramai org yg dah lame x tgk muke terutama sekali Owwek la kan, 2) I don’t have to drive, 3) Wedding malam, 4) Aku byk gelak dan tidak termangu2, 5) Makan sedapp!!

The killer dish (to me) was Ayam Percik. The sauce was yellow, instead of the orange/red sauce yg slalu jual kat Pasar Malam tu. Sedaap ahh!! Tapi lauk yang paling killer mmg murderer abes is the dessert - Tapai Aiskrim. For Non-Johoreans mesti tak compute camne rupe Tapai Aiskrim ni. It’s not Tapai yang di-aiskrim kan. It’s Tapai Pulut Putih(fyi, tapai jawa/banjar Sabak Bernam kaler hijau) with vanilla ice cream at the side. Superb combo. Ptg ni kene jugak carik tapai ngan aiskrim kat kedai. Buat buke puasa.

So I was chatting with a fren of mine about Tapai Aiskrim. We came up with other dishes-combo style.
1)Nasik putih digaul mesra dgn Super Ring (resipi seorg bdk kecik di Mersing).
2)Nasik Putih dimakan bersama2 tembikai (kelantanese yg makan cemni), tembikai sebagai ulam, cam timun. Tembikai tu dicicah ngan budu tak rasanya?? (komen sket Bigg)
3)Super Ring cicah kicap manis.
4)Karipap cicah kicap (resipi keluarga Othman Tmn Uda, Loq Setaq).
5)Cucur badak with milo as the fillings (resipi 6-year-old-and-very-fat Ermie, Tmn Desa).
6)Pulut with Durian, Kelapa Parut and Sugar (Org kedah). Gile ke korg ni? Tak muak ke?
7)Ketupat palas/Lemang cicah kaya (blueek )
8)Cendol Pulut .. slurpp ~
9)Nasik Putih digaul Butter n Ikan Kembung Goreng

In Ermie’s Rules of Eating, Ketupat/Lemang/Pulut/Ketupat Palas was never meant to be eaten with anything manis, except for no8 la of course. I prefer my ketupat with Rendang Kerang Kaler Kuning or Chicken Curry and Pulut with Sambal Ikan Bilis Kering and Ikan masin. No Lemang. I don’t eat Lemang. And Ketupat Palas and Dodol for that matter. Boley la telan, utk amek hati tuan rumah yang menghidangnya.

Then there’s this one delicacies masa kecik2 yang dah lama pupus, which was sold almost everywhere when I was in Primary school in Sg. Besai. Sengkuang dipotong nipis sebesar tapak tgn, slathered with mysterious red sauce (sgt merah tapi langsung tak pedas) and crunchy roasted groundnuts ditabur. Sepotong 20sen. Kalau sengkuang tu kecik boley dpt sengkuang sanwic. 2 keping dipenyekkan bersama. Nyam.

So what’s your favourite but weird combo meal?

korang perasan tak dah setahun usia blog kita ni? sebab aku nampak kat tepi tu dia tunjuk entry yg paling awal pada November 2004. So bulan nih cukuplah setahun kan????

waahhhh, tak sangka, pejam celik, terkebil kebil dah setahun nooooo. (sambil membuat aksi abang geleng, ah ah ah)

next week kita celebrate kitanya besday k? time hasna mai KL. wuuhhuu. best best!

hi guys.. i’m back and ari nih after a long holiday.. first day kat opis.. and demmit.. sungguh tidak bersemangat.. isk isk isk.. baru kerje tige thn dah tader semangat nak gi opis.. cemaner.. ke sume semangat dah abih mase raye sbb raye sakan sgt.. ( walaupon baju raye tak siap!!)

so how’s ur first day..? berkobar kobar ker gi kerje?? and how’s ur raya??? marvellous?? average raya??

i’m going out now.. nak gi celcom.. check promotion.. nak gi carrefour.. mkn 1901.. nak gi post opis.. nak post surat.. nak gi public bank nak bayar utang.. uhm.. nak gi mcm mcm tempat lagi except for my office.. tak sabar nak kul 5pm 5.30pm

ok… aku dah nak balik kampung ni. tak penah aku balik kampung selewat ni… tertekan sungguh.

di hari yg mulia ni, aku/i/saya/sheyna nak mintak maaf kepada semua rakan2 esp pembaca blog nih. kalau ada salah silap tu, mintak maaf banyak2.

untuk yg pulang beraya di alor star, jemputlah ke rumah.
yg tak beraya di alor star, jemput ke puchong after raya. kita lepak mamak k?

apa pun… berhati2 ketika di jalan raya.

korang nak tau tak satu benda, hari raye thn nih.. mcm thn thn lepas, aku ade laa hati nak pasang pelita kat umah aku.. so.. pegi laa beli minyak gas… bawak laa botol minyak satu litre.. mase nak gi kedai, bapak aku dah sound minyak gas mahal, tapi aku cam ingat mahal maner laa sgt.. so.. sampai kedai, soh laa org kedai tuh isi minyak gas penuh penuh.. bila nak bayar, korang tau tak beraper harga die… 1 litre = RM4.20.. aku terus cam terase demmit.. baik aku bakar pelita pakai minyak petrol.. baru 1 litre=RM1.60..

anyway.. aku bayar laa jugak kann.. so skang lepas nih.. kalau nampak rumah maner yg pasang sampai 20 pelita tuh.. for sure aku akan rase dlm hati “kaya sial rumah tuh.. pakai pelita minyak gas.. ”
ahahahha.. saper pakai lampu minyak tanah kat umah die pon kaye jugak aaa kann??

mintak maaf ler bebyk kalau ade bende aku tulih korang terase kerr.. or kalau kat real life aku terkasar bahase, terlupe janji..
